‘Lambs’ Premiere to Benefit AIDS Project

Proceeds from the Feb. 1 premiere of Jonathan Demme’s new film, “Silence of the Lambs,” will benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles, a nonprofit group that provides services for persons affected by HIV.
The film stars Academy Award winner Jodie Foster as an FBI trainee on the trail of a serial killer. Also starring are Anthony Hopkins, Scott Glenn and Diane Baker.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. screening, to be held at the Cineplex Odeon Century Plaza Cinema in Century City, and a reception afterward cost $125.
