Today’s Hula Bowl game is being dedicated to the Allied soldiers in the Persian Gulf and longtime NFL coach George Allen, who died Dec. 31. About 8,000 Hawaii-based servicemen are in the Gulf.
The game brings together 68 of the nation’s top college seniors.
