5 Iraqi Soldiers Defect to Turkey

HABUR, Turkey — At least five Iraqi soldiers have deserted to neighboring Turkey since the Persian Gulf War began, officials along the border said Friday.
Four soldiers defected Friday morning close to the town of Silopi, a military official there said.
