A 28-year-old man apparently killed himself accidentally with a loaded gun Saturday morning in his residential hotel room in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue, police said.
Marve A. Edwards, a resident of the Llewellyn Hotel, was found dead in his room about 2:43 a.m. Saturday with a single shot to the head from a 9-millimeter handgun, police said.
Police said Edwards had been drinking and had shot himself with a loaded handgun that he believed was empty.
