1990-1991 Resolutions

“I need to approach 1991 with the resolve not to take things so seriously, because what I see on a daily basis with child abuse is burning me out. It’s very easy to lose perspective when you’re dealing with child abuse on a daily basis. I don’t want to minimize things, but I don’t want to internalize them. And realize that the whole world is not cruel to children. And realize that even if there are small successes, that makes our efforts worthwhile.”
