Eastern Wins Contract: Eastern Airlines said it won a federal contract designating it as the official carrier for 1991 on more than 345 routes used by U.S. government employees on business. Eastern currently is designated as the carrier on 220 such routes. The designation means Eastern can expect to win most government business on those routes, spokeswoman Karen Ceremsak said. The financially strapped airline, which has operated under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since March, 1989, said the contract is worth between $82 million and $100 million.
