4 From Valley College Sign Football Letters

Craig Pringle, Edward Bunn, Ralph Reece and Cliff Robinson of Valley College have signed football letters of intent.

Pringle, an All-Western State Conference Southern Division honorable mention defensive back, and Bunn, a Southern Division first-team punter, signed with Texas El Paso.

Robinson, a Southern Division second-team tailback, signed with Memphis State and cornerback Reece signed with Hastings (Neb.) College, a National Assn. of Intercollegiate Athletics school.

Bunn ranked third in the WSC with a 38.9 punting average.

Robinson, a graduate of L. A. Baptist High, was the Monarchs’ leading rusher (618 yards, 5.7 yards a carry) and scorer (eight touchdowns for 48 points), and he ranked second in receptions (27 for 323 yards).

Reece, a Cleveland High graduate, will attend Hastings on a combination football-track and field scholarship.
