Robert A. Rivero has been appointed partner-in-charge of the audit practice for the Los Angeles office of the accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick. He succeeds Clarence T. Schmitz, who was recently named managing partner of the Los Angeles office. Rivero joins the Los Angeles office after five years at Peat Marwick’s Miami office, where he served as audit partner-in-charge.
