Comedy Benefit for the Forces

The fourth annual “A-PAC-A-LAFS-NOW” comedy benefit, with headliners Roseanne Barr and Tom Arnold, will be heard by forces in the Middle East. KLSX Radio is taping the event on Monday at the Improvisation in Santa Monica; it will be broadcast internationally by Armed Forces Radio at a later date via satellite.
Joining Barr and Arnold in performance will be Jim Carrey, Michael Colyar, Tommy Davidson, Rick Duccomun and David Alan Grier of “In Living Color,” comedians Mike Binder and Blake Clark (creator of the event), “Police Academy’s” Michael Winslow and surprise guests.
Proceeds from the show, which is open to the public, will go to the Vietnam Veterans Aid Foundation. Tickets are $25 for the show; $50 for show and reception. Information: (800) 366-VVAF.
