Pasadena : City Gas for School Cars
Fleet cars on official business for Pasadena City College and the Pasadena Unified School District will be able to fill up at city gasoline pumps under a one-year agreement approved by city directors.
The school district, which buys gasoline at $1.22 per gallon, the same price paid by the city, is not expected to use the city pumps often. But the college, which buys 25,000 gallons of fuel a year, would save $7,250 a year under the new policy.
The city, which buys 460,000 gallons of unleaded fuel a year under volume discounts, will be reimbursed for the gasoline used by the college and the school district.
