Tagliabue Decision Draws Unfriendly Fire
Those people who advocate depriving Arizona of the Super and/or Fiesta bowls because the voters of that state rejected a King birthday holiday have proven conclusively that they haven’t a clue as to what Dr. King actually stood for. He spent his entire adult life fighting for the concept of the individual’s right to speech, thought and action, including the right not to do something, free from the arbitrary dictates of even a majority of others. If Dr. King had to make the call on Arizona, there is no doubt as to how he would decide to vote.
