Fontana 56, Palmdale 6--Fontana running back David Griffin rushed for 119 yards in 15 carries and scored twice as the second-seeded Steelers (10-1) built a 28-0 lead before eliminating visiting Palmdale (4-7).
Fontana gained 375 yards on the ground and held Palmdale to 26 rushing and 85 overall. Palmdale had only five first downs and allowed 25.
Fontana running backs Hollerith Jones and Richard Stephens each scored two touchdowns.
Palmdale avoided a shutout when quarterback Rodney Williams scored on a 50-yard run in the third quarter.
