So Mike Garrett says Bruin fans are insufferable. I’ll tell you what is insufferable: The Times sports section’s constant pampering of pompous Trojans and their attempts to undermine what should be the best rivalry in college football.
I always felt games with non-conference foes are never as important, but I guess I stand corrected, for if all these USC people believe the Notre Dame game stands above, it must be so. Is Pat Haden the only Trojan who understands what’s going on here?
