King’s Swan Wins Aqueduct Feature

NEW YORK — King’s Swan, a 10-year-old gelding, held on to win the $50,000 Vigors Handicap by a nose at Aqueduct on Monday.
King’s Swan, given a strong ride by Angel Cordero Jr., scored his first victory in eight starts this year and his 31st in 106 career races to boost his earnings to $1,919,058.
The winning time for the 1 1/8 mile was 1:51.4.
King’s Swan returned $12, $5 and $3.60. Joker’s Farce paid $5.80 and $2.80 and Farewell Wave was $2.40 to show.
