Japanese motorcyclist Kazuo Tokunaga, 29, died during the Baja 1,000, event officials said.
Tokunaga, 29, a professional racer from Kanagawa, Japan, died Friday about 50 miles into the race in a single motorcycle accident, race spokesman Deke Holgate said.
