NEW YORK — Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said Wednesday that U.S.-led forces should wait “at least two to three more months” to decide if the trade embargo will force Iraq to withdraw from Kuwait, the New York Times reported today.
In an interview, Mubarak also warned that if Iraqi President Saddam Hussein doesn’t pull his troops out of Kuwait, war will be inevitable. “There will be no other way out,” Mubarak told the paper.
“I am not bluffing. I don’t think the United States is bluffing.”
