Camera Platforms International Inc., a Valencia provider of production equipment to the movie and television industries, said it lost $679,128 in the third quarter, compared with a year-earlier loss of $744,090.
The narrower loss came on a sharp rise in Camera Platforms’ revenue, to $681,750 in the quarter ended Sept. 30 from $349,597 a year earlier. Continuing demand for the company’s lighting products contributed to the gains, Camera Platforms said.
In the first nine months of 1990, the company lost $1.26 million on revenue of $3.26 million. A year earlier, it lost $2.23 million on revenue of $1.13 million.
