Former President Ronald Reagan said he “didn’t have to think 30 seconds” about selling missiles to Iran, because he believed the group seeking the weapons did not support terrorism. But he denies that he tried to swap weapons for American hostages, according to excerpts of his just published memoirs, “An American Life,” appearing in Time magazine. Reagan acknowledged he still does not know all the facts in the Iran-Contra case.
