In the Arrowhead League:
Capistrano Valley Christian 12, Calvary Chapel 12--Jason Sharkey completed a 23-yard touchdowns pass to Brian Arrowood with about 2:30 remaining to give Calvary Chapel a tie at Westminster High. Brian Biegert rushed 29 times for 190 yards and two touchdowns, and Darren Crail gained 133 yards in 10 carries for Capistrano Valley Christian (3-5-1, 3-1-1).
In Express League eight-man football:
Garden Grove Claremont 54, Gethsemane Baptist 30--Senior Ken Maitland rushed 12 times for 376 yards and three touchdowns as Claremont (3-4, 2-3) finished its season at Harbor Christian High in in Harbor City. Maitland set school single-game and career rushing records with the performance against Gethsemane (0-5, 0-8).
In Academy League eight-man football:
Liberty Christian 54, Heritage Christian 6--Sophomore Gabe Baltodano rushed 23 times for 279 yards and five touchdowns for Liberty Christian (4-5, 1-2) in its final game at Robinwood School in Huntington Beach. Anthony Rodriguez returned the opening kickoff 69 yards for a touchdown for Heritage, but Baltodano countered with his first touchdown, a 77-yard run.
