Notre Dame 21, Bishop Montgomery 12--Notre Dame kept its league title hopes alive with a convincing victory over visiting Bishop Montgomery. Notre Dame (6-2-1, 4-0-1) takes on Crespi next week to decide the Mission League championship.
Notre Dame, which scored 14 first-quarter points, was comfortably ahead until late in the third quarter. Then Bishop Montgomery’s Joe McEwen dashed 36 yards up the middle for a touchdown.
Notre Dame quarterback Steve Colella was 14 of 25 for 140 yards with two touchdowns. Miller was Notre Dame’s leading receiver with 43 yards on five catches.
