If Jack Clark Returns, at Least One Fan Won’t

I would like to answer Harold P. Weber’s letter, which appeared in Viewpoint on Sept. 29. You must not forget that the Dodgers are victims of games where they blow big leads and lost. Take the classic one against Philadelphia. Dodgers up, 11-3, in the ninth inning. Three outs later, Philadelphia 12, the Crybabies 11. Games ends that way, too.
The Dodgers were their own worst enemy all season. The Padres couldn’t help the Dodgers fight their way out of a paper bag against the Phillies that night. The Dodgers did it themselves.
