Judge Steps Down in Drexel Case: U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Howard C. Buschman III, saying he is considering a job at an unidentified law firm that has represented a Drexel Burnham Lambert creditor, is stepping down from the bench after seven years. Attorneys for Drexel and creditors said the departure would delay proceedings while Buschman’s replacement becomes familiar the case. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Frank Conrad, who sits in Rutland, Vt., was named to take over the proceedings.
