Feinstein, Wilson Campaigns for Governorship
- Share via
Sen. Wilson has missed all 29 votes taken by the Senate since it returned from recess (Sept. 27). At a time when the United States is embroiled in a potential deadly war in the Persian Gulf, the budget crisis, the selection of a Supreme Court justice and the savings and loan debacle, the nation’s most powerful state is represented by a part-time senator.
I can understand why holding onto the Senate job while running for governor is good for Wilson. But I can’t understand why it’s good for California.
Every time I see him campaigning in California I’ll wonder why he isn’t in Washington earning his salary.
