Jan C. Posten; Travel Agent, Diver

A funeral is scheduled Saturday for Jan C. Posten of Santa Clarita, a travel agent for the Automobile Club of Southern California in Northridge who co-founded a diving club.
She died Aug. 21 in Panorama City following complications of surgery, said her fiance, Clarke Skinner. She was 38.
In the mid-1980s she served as secretary and board member of the New Wave Dive Club in Reseda. In 1988, she co-founded the Sport Chalet Dive Club of the Santa Clarita Valley with Skinner.
She is survived by Skinner; son Clinton Posten of Canyon Country; her mother, Venice Reed of Santa Clarita; and brothers Gary Aicard of Van Nuys and Adrien Aicard of Boise, Ida. A funeral is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday at Valhalla Memorial Park, 10621 Victory Blvd. in North Hollywood. Pierce Brothers Valhalla Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
