McGuire, Young to Play Baseball in 3-Country Series

Ryan McGuire of El Camino Real High and Dmitri Young of Rio Mesa are among 18 high school baseball players selected to represent the United States in a three-country tournament in Japan.
The event, sponsored by the Japan National High School Baseball Federation, will be held Aug. 19-Sept. 2 at various locations in Japan. An all-star team representing Korea also will compete.
Former Pepperdine Coach Dave Gorrie will coach the U. S. team.
