To Freedom Wins Saratoga Special

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — To Freedom, ridden by Angel Cordero Jr., held off Fighting Affair by a head on Friday to win the $87,900 Saratoga Special for 2-year-olds at Saratoga Race Course.
Fighting Affair finished 2 1/2 lengths ahead of Eugene Eugene in the six-horse field. Ducere, Vermont and Monogahela completed the order of finish.
