PORT HUENEME : 7 Consider Bids for Harbor Commission

Seven potential candidates for three positions on the Port of Hueneme Board of Harbor Commissioners have taken out papers, but none have filed to run in the Nov. 6 election, a spokeswoman for the Oxnard Harbor District said.
The terms of board President Edward J. Millan, Vice President Stanley J. Daily and harbor Commissioner Steve W. Stocks will expire at the end of the year. All three have requested candidacy papers.
Others considering candidacies are Oxnard residents William E. Bradley, John P. Borman, Raymond E. Fosse and Ronald H. Roberts.
The deadline for filing is Aug. 10.
