ANR Is Expanding Its Energy Holdings

HOUSTON — ANR Production Co. is purchasing additional interests in 374 producing oil and gas wells and a natural gas processing plant in the Altamont-Bluebell field of northeast Utah, the company said.
A confidentiality agreement prevented ANR from disclosing the seller of the interests or the amount paid, said Jim Bailey, spokesman for Coastal Corp., ANR’s parent firm.
The transaction will increase ANR Production’s average working interest in the 374 wells from 28 to 42%, and its ownership in the Altamont Gas Processing Plant from 52.7% to 78.5%.
