Soviet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev is on vacation. He left Moscow today for his summer home in the Crimea on the Black Sea. . . . Paul McCartney can take a rest, too. He finished up his world concert tour Sunday night before 53,000 fans in Chicago’s Soldier Field. The former Beatle’s tour took him to 14 countries, where he played 102 shows. . . . Fleetwood Mac finishes the first U.S. leg of “The Mask” tour on Aug. 2 before heading across the Atlantic. The European tour starts Aug. 21 in Ghent, Belgium, and will take the band to the Netherlands, England, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, West Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Greece. There will be more U.S. shows in the fall, including some that had to be canceled in July because of the death of singer Christine McVie’s father.
