Racquetball World Hires Former Pro

Former professional Jerry Hilecher has joined the staff at Sequoia Club/Racquetball World in Canoga Park.
Hilecher’s duties will include implementing youth programs and conducting racquetball leagues.
Hilecher, 36, played on the pro circuit during the 1970s and early ‘80s, rising to a No. 1 ranking in 1981.
The Tri-County Soccer League will play host to a men’s open soccer tournament Aug. 11-12 at Huntzinger Park in Ventura.
The tournament will feature 16 teams and each squad will be guaranteed four games.
