Gas Prices Are Flat: Gasoline prices, which normally rise in the summer, remained steady the past two weeks. Average price for a gallon of gas was $1.1772, according to the most recent Lundberg Survey of gasoline stations nationwide. Prices have been stable during the early part of the summer thanks to lower crude oil prices, Trilby Lundberg said.
