Police were searching Friday for two teen-agers who robbed a Huntington Beach restaurant at gunpoint.
The pair entered the Kung Pao Chinese Restaurant in the 4900 block of Warner Avenue at 11:15 p.m. Thursday through an open back door. The restaurant was closed, but the owner, his wife and their son were cleaning, police said.
Armed with handguns, the robbers forced the victims to lie on the floor and then took their cash and jewelry and the money from the register.
Restaurant manager Jason Chen, 26, said the suspects got away with “a wristwatch and a little cash.”
Believed to be in their middle to late teens, both suspects were wearing white T-shirts. One was about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and the other was about 5 feet, 4 inches tall, police said.
