HOMETOWN HEROES: Even as the Nixon Library opened (A1), plans continue for Orange County’s next monument to its favorite sons. The Orange County Sports Hall of Fame, which inducted four local heroes Thursday (C1), hopes to raise $1 million to add a floor to a building planned beside Anaheim Stadium. “It would be a lot cheaper than building somewhere else,” says a Hall of Fame director.
