National Medical Enterprises Inc.: The Santa Monica-based health-care services company reported net income of $238.9 million for the 12 months ended May 31, up 67% from $143.3 million a year ago. Revenue was $3.9 billion, up from $3.7 billion. The company said its results reflect solid admissions growth at its psychiatric, rehabilitation and general hospitals.
