‘Peaks’ Interest: ABC will present a one-hour “Twin Peaks” special, designed to hype the off-beat soap opera’s new season and to fill in any gaps for viewers who may have missed any of the first eight weird and complicated episodes, at 10 p.m. Sept. 29, Robert Iger, president of ABC Entertainment, told The Times on Thursday. The network will air David Lynch’s two-hour season premiere, in which viewers will get to see the killer of Laura Palmer, the following night.
