Host Who Banned Black Callers Back on Air: A radio talk show host in Birmingham, Ala., who was suspended Thursday for banning black callers, returned to the air Tuesday on WERC-AM after his station manager said his action was not malicious. But station manager Berkley Fraser said Tim Lennox was removed from his job as news director and will be on probation for a year. Lennox also will be required to develop, produce and serve as host of a special series, “Birmingham Faces the Future,” focusing on race relations.
