As I read “The Line Forms Here,” by Nikki Finke (May 27), I was impressed by what seemed to be a knowledgeable report on the prospects of the forthcoming motion-picture releases.
That was until I came to the last two paragraphs. “Especially those (movies) featuring TV stars.” Just where did Michael J. Fox and Bruce Willis come from, not to mention all the performers who worked on “Saturday Night Live”?
Most of today’s motion-picture leads got their start on TV.
