Man, 31, Found Shot Dead on S.D. Street

Police are investigating the shooting death of a 31-year-old San Diego man who was killed Friday evening on a southeast street, authorities said.
The victim, identified as Hector Ybarra, was found dead on the sidewalk of the 700 block of South 31st Street, where he lived.
Police said residents called police after hearing two shots shortly before 9:30 p.m. Paramedics were unable to revive the victim.
