Monrovia : Garbage Fees Increased

The City Council last week approved a trash fee increase of 5.64% for the fiscal year 1990-1991.
This means that single-family homes using 90-gallon garbage containers will pay $8.87 per month, up from $8.45.
The new fees, based on rising costs for residential refuse service, are effective this month. Residents who use 60-gallon containers will pay $7.34 a month, and each additional 60- or 90-gallon container will cost $2.11 a month.
