SOUTHLAND : Sisters Shot Dead In Sepulveda

Two sisters were shot to death in their Sepulveda home and a man was wounded when an ex-boyfriend of one of the women allegedly invaded the house and began firing a shotgun early today, Los Angeles police said.
Police were searching for Dean Roger McGrath, 29, as the suspect in the shootings at 1:30 a.m. at a duplex in the 8500 block of Orion Avenue.
Cathleen Fein, 30, and Marlene Taylor, 32, were fatally shot inside the two-bedroom home, Detective Michael Brandt said. Anthony Deluca, 28, ran from the house calling for help when the shooting started. Police said the gunman chased him down about 10 houses away and shot him in the back.
Taylor’s two young sons--a 4-year-old fathered by Deluca and a 2-year-old fathered by McGrath--were asleep in the home when McGrath allegedly entered the house through an unlocked door and began shooting. The boys were unharmed.
Brandt said the shootings were apparently motivated by domestic problems between McGrath, Taylor and Deluca.
