David Kirkpatrick, president of production for Walt Disney Pictures and Touchstone Pictures, has left the Burbank studio after only 18 months and rejoined Paramount Pictures Corp. as an executive vice president in the Motion Pictures Group. Kirkpatrick, who left Paramount in 1985 after eight years, will report to MPG President Sidney Ganis. In the newly created position, Kirkpatrick will work alongside production president Gary Lucchesi.
