Frederick’s of Hollywood Inc.: The women’s wear retailer said third-quarter profit totaled $731,000, up 20% from the same period a year ago. Sales rose 21% to $24.2 million. The Los Angeles-based firm credited healthy sales gains at its chain of retail stores (up 10% on a comparable store basis) and its mail-order segment (up 25%).
