California IN BRIEF : SAN FRANCISCO : Santa Fe Springs Chorus Wins Title

The Masters of Harmony, a 110-man barbershop chorus based in Santa Fe Springs, won the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Chorus Championship Saturday in San Francisco’s Cow Palace. Directed by Dr. Greg Lyne, the Masters finished first among 17 finalists from as far away as Sheffield, England, to become the first chorus champions from California since the Berkeley Californians won in 1957.
