If Canseco Is Happy, Why Aren’t They Happy?

I am very angry. I heard recently of the new contract that Jose Canseco signed. I cannot believe that anyone could pay a baseball player $23 million for five seasons of games.
The idea that if you took all of the salaries from the players in both or maybe one league and could pay off the national debt scares the life out of me. It is insulting to people who work their whole lives, breaking their backs to keep their heads above water, to see someone throw a ball eight months out of the year and make millions of dollars.
