Pedestrian Critically Injured by Bus

A pedestrian was critically injured when he was hit by a bus Thursday in the 4400 block of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
Calvin Brown, 35, of Linda Vista was in surgery late Thursday night at Sharp Memorial Hospital with injuries to his hip, leg and buttocks, according to nursing supervisor Melanie Bruce.
The accident occurred at 6:55 p.m., said Sgt. Jim Clear of the San Diego Police Department.
No other details were available Thursday night.
