NEW YORK — Donald and Ivana Trump’s former maid says her ex-employers have “no class.”
In an article in this week’s People magazine, Reidun Torrie said she quit after three months of working at the Trumps’ Palm Beach, Fla., estate, Mar-a-Lago.
“I just couldn’t take it any more,” she said. “When the Trumps came, they put plastic Trump Castle ice buckets in each of the guest bedrooms. Well, you just don’t do those things.”
Of the 118-room estate, Torrie said: “I’m sorry they bought Mar-a-Lago, and to be very honest I hope they don’t get to keep it. It just doesn’t suit the Trumps. They have no class.”
She also told People that the Trumps “weren’t very nice to the help.”
Dan Klores, a spokesman for Trump, said Trump had “nothing to say” about the report.
