Patriarch Leaves for U.S.

ISTANBUL, Turkey — Ecumenical Patriarch Demetrios, spiritual leader of the world’s Greek Orthodox Christians, left his home in Turkey on Monday to visit the United States. The patriarch is scheduled to meet with President Bush July 12.
