U.S. Administration Suspends Dialogue With Arafat’s PLO

The United States condemns and sanctions South Africa, Romania and China, but Israel daily kills unarmed children with impunity. This hypocrisy is obvious to U.S. allies in Europe.
Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat complied with Israel’s long-held condition for peace by renouncing terrorism and recognizing Israel’s right to exist. No response from Israel. Israel’s peace negotiations remind one of Japanese trade negotiations.
The United States sends about $4 billion a year in public and private funds to support a David that has become a rampaging Goliath. Israel has no incentive to negotiate with anyone because it holds all the cards now.
The United States allows Israel to harbor fugitives who have spied on the United States and committed terrorist murders of U.S. Arab advocates. Housing Minister Ariel Sharon will now have new pogrom opportunities. Why is it fair that the United States supports one of the world’s most fascist countries?
I am neither Jew nor Arab, but I have lived in Israel; a beautiful country that may be remembered in history as one of the most violent places on earth.
