New headquarters: Novadyne Computer Systems Co., formerly McDonnell Douglas Field Services Co., will build a new headquarters in Santa Ana to house the 300 people working for the company at three sites in Orange County, spokeswoman Pat Dwight said Monday.
McDonnell Douglas Corp. said Sunday that it had sold the computer maintenance and distribution division to a management-led investor group for $65 million. The company, which has 1,000 employees nationwide, has no plans for changes in its employment levels, Dwight said.
Bert Novak, president and chief executive of Novadyne, began negotiating the buyout 11 months ago with McDonnell Douglas. Novadyne has more than $100 million in revenue.
