Aerospace Firm Is Sued Over Jet Parts: The federal government has sued Consolidated Aeronautics Corp. of North Hollywood on grounds that it supplied the Navy with defective control valves for the A-7 fighter. The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, accuses the aerospace firm of falsely certifying that more than 1,000 selector-set control valves were functional. Consolidated received $944,542 for the valves .
